Parkfield House Booking Conditions
Thank you for choosing to stay at Parkfield House where a warm and friendly welcome from John and Susan awaits.
When you make this booking you are entering an agreement with us, please read our terms and conditions of booking below.
Confirmation: We may require card details for a valid debit or credit card to secure your booking. No charges will be applied to this card prior to your arrival unless your stay with us is cancelled later than 3 days before the date of your arrival as detailed below. If at the time of booking no card details are taken please be advised that the cancellation policy will still be upheld.
Cancellation: Once you have booked your stay, our agreement is a legal contract and any deposit you may have paid is non-refundable. If you need to cancel or make any other changes please contact us immediately. Bookings cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival will incur no additional fees and subject to availability may be postponed to a later date. If a booking is cancelled later than 3 days before the date of arrival, or in the case of a no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
Price: The price includes accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis.
Non-availability: We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would do our utmost to find you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
Arrival: Your accommodation will be available to you from 3.00pm on the day of arrival, unless otherwise arranged. Please let us know if you plan to arrive before this time or if you know you will be arriving after 7.30pm.
Departure: Please be ready to leave your accommodation by 10.00am on the day of departure. Your bill for the accommodation is payable on departure.
Damage and Breakages: Please let us know if anything in your room is not working or is damaged. Although we accept normal wear and tear you are liable for any breakages or damage which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur.
Car Park: Parkfield House has 7 car park spaces solely for guest use and all guests park there at their own risk. We kindly ask that guests park within the white lines to enable all spaces to be available and that if you intend to go out for the day and you are blocking another car you leave your keys with ourselves or you park opposite the house where free parking is widely available on a first come first come basis. For the safety and security of all our guests we would like to remind you to keep the large green gate to the car park closed at all times.
Smoking: Smoking is NOT permitted anywhere on the premises. Anyone found to be smoking, or to have been smoking on the premises will be asked to leave and charged a standard fee of £150 to cover the cleaning of all upholstery and furnishings in addition to the total cost of the stay.
Liability: We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
Data Protection Policy: We will keep your information securely and share details only in order to comply with the law.
